BISSA have one again played a massive part in landing a new signing to the club. Sydney-born Fisher, 30, has agreed to join the ‘Dogs, linking up with Australian compatriot and friend, Ben Black, after Hull KR decided not to renew his contract at the end of the Super League season at Craven Park. Formerly with the Sydney Roosters, North Sydney Bears and Halifax, Fisher is an outstanding acquisition for the club, and demonstrates that head coach John Kear continues to search out quality players who can benefit his squad. A Scottish international who represented his adopted country in the 2008 World Cup and subsequent international events, Fisher’s distribution and experience will be invaluable to the club at Championship level.
A big thank you to all the BISSA members and supporters that enable us to continue our work.
