BISSA can now confirm that the annual dinner will take place on Friday 22nd June 2012, once again at the popular Lakeside Bar & Restaurant in Heckmondwike.
Guests for the evening include the award winning, former rugby league playing, comedian Lea Roberts. Popular on the circuit and winner of ITV1’s ‘Stand up Britain’ in 2002, Lea will no doubt provide a evening full of laughs of stories of his RL career.
Joining Lea will be Karl Kirkpatrick, the former Super League referee. He was a referee at the highest level for 14 years and has controlled both Challenge Cup and Super League Grand Finals. He is still a well known face in the game and has been involved with the Steve Prescot Foundation and numerous players testimonials and junior rugby.
