After an unforgettable day on Sunday where the whole club pulled together to exemplify what the Batley Bulldogs are all about, the BISSA Committee wanted to take this opportunity to thank both its loyal members, and anyone else involved in our club who have helped and supported us during the 2014 season.
It’s been a challenging season in many ways, but the support of all involved has been crucial in ensuring that it is finishing on a high. Although hopefully not finished just yet!
During 2014, BISSA funding has been used to help the club secure the permanent signings of Ben Black, Anthony Nicholson and Luke Blake to name just a few, plus the key mid-season loan signings of Alex Brown, Keegan Hirst and Ben Heaton. Along with this, BISSA have also helped to secure the signing of Sunday’s Man of the Match, Wayne Reittie both for the remainder of this season, and for 2015.
Furthermore, BISSA are delighted to have helped support the club with the recent re-signing of star winger Johnny Campbell, and with several new signings for next season, details of which will be publicised in the weeks to come.
In conjunction with this, the BISSA Committee has also recently held a very positive meeting with Club officials to discuss plans/events for 2015, and to look at ways of further developing and improving an already excellent working relationship.
What is quite clear is that BISSA support will be even more crucial next season with the club participating in a division with full time teams with financial resources which far outweigh our own. Every little will help in what will be an exciting but challenging year for the Dogs. So please encourage family, friends, and anyone else you know with an interest in our club to sign up and help the cause!
Thanks again for all your help and support. Without it we may not be looking forward to clashes with teams like Bradford Bulls and London Broncos at the Mount next year.
