The 100 player mark has recently been reached by BISSA, these are players which have been part funded by the BATLEY INDEPENDENT SUPPORTERS SQUADBUILDER ASSOCIATION, in the 8 years since it was formed.
Paul Mennell, Ash Lindsay and Alex Bretherton brought the total up ninety nine. The 100th player that BISSA funded was BEN BLACK, but we have now gone past this, helping the club to bring in Gareth Frodsham from Saint Helens, Johnny Walker from Wigan and Tom Henderson and Gareth Potts from Wakefield.
These players have joined Batley due to fans, being BISSA members, and helping the manager go the extra mile when signing players. Any funds BISSA have, are used directly by the manager to supplement the playing budget. There are various ways you can help, either online, at the BISSA stall on matchdays, or by monthly/annual direct debits starting at five pounds a month.
If online shopping for Xmas, you can help at no extra cost to you, by going through this link, where a percentage of what you spend goes to BISSA.
